During a meeting of the Network of Lawyers for the Release of President Nicolás Maduro and First Lady Cilia Flores, Venezuelan National Assembly Deputy Nicolás Maduro Guerra denounced a serious violation of international law committed by the United States government.

“The illegal kidnapping of Nicolás Maduro Moros and Cilia Flores has made them a symbol of courage and loyalty to the Venezuelan people and to the legacy of Commander Chávez,” stated Maduro Guerra, who thanked the nation for its efforts in demanding their release.
The legislator emphasized that maintaining constitutional order represents a great victory for the Bolivarian State in the face of U.S. aggression. He also reaffirmed his commitment to institutional strengthening and the promotion of social projects for the benefit of the country, underscoring that Venezuela continues to advance along the constitutional path laid out by President Nicolás Maduro.
“Nicolás Maduro, along with Cilia Flores, is today a global symbol of resistance, loyalty, and courage,” the congressman declared.
For his part, Venezuelan Attorney General Tarek William Saab expressed his support for interim president Delcy Rodríguez for her performance and urged the feminist movement to mobilize in defense of the “hostages” Cilia Flores and Nicolás Maduro.
